Apple has announced that it will host the 2022 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). WWDC basically announces a new OS, but there are rumors that new hardware products will be announced this time.
WWDC 2022 will be held primarily online from June 6th to 10th. The event aims to help Apple announce new versions of iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and more, while allowing developers to interact with Apple’s engineers and technology.
Currently, there are few rumors about these new operating systems. Apple’s specialized US media “MacRumors” is expecting iOS 16 to add some features related to AR / VR headsets that are rumored to be released in 2022.
However, although it was rumored that the release of this headset will be “released at WWDC in June 2022“, there was also information that this was postponed until 2023.
There are also rumors that it will include support for the new iPhone 14 feature “Traffic Accident Detection.” This is a feature that automatically calls emergency services when it detects that a user has had a traffic accident.
WWDC 2022 may also announce new hardware targeted at developers. Economic newspaper reporter Mark Garman previously reported that Apple could announce a new Mac with Apple silicon in May or June.
At an event last month, Apple’s John Turnas declared “Mac Studio” at the end of the announcement, “I’ll introduce you to the Mac Pro at another time.” Certainly, the announcement of a new Mac for professionals rather than consumers at WWDC in June may be a trivial matter.
In addition, it is rumored that Apple is currently developing various new products such as “Apple Car” and “AR Glass“. I also hope that this WWDC22 will reveal some new information.
In addition to the announcement at this WWDC 2022, there are many developers interacting with Apple engineers and designers, including Apple’s “State of the Union” and “Apple Design Award” events, online sessions, and one-on-one labs for developers.
Opportunities are available. At WWDC, beta operating systems for developers are usually released, so it may be possible to see future Apple products from there as well.
